I've been a nurse for 29 years, most of them in cardiology at Guadalajara Maternity Hospital in Guadalajara. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
