I taught early years at Crown Middle School in Amsterdam from 1996 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 1,070 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.

What gifts mean to Roos: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
