For 48 years I have been the French teacher at The Hague High School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Roos
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Roos: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
