I've been a nurse for 47 years, most of them in orthopedics at Lagos Regional Medical Center in Lagos. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
