Ronke Lola Yusuf
Bass player and teacher in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Quartet
- Since 1985
- English, Igbo
I play bass and oud. I started in 1985 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily.
More about Ronke
I write my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Ronke: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
