Ronke Damilola Ogunbanjo
Painter, potter and teacher at Little Highland Pottery
- 🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria
- Little Highland Pottery
- 1991 to 2016
- English, Yoruba
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 1991 at Little Highland Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ronke
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
