I coached wrestling at Cork Football Club from 2011 to 2025. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Ronan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Ronan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
