I spent 37 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Curitiba State University in Curitiba. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ronaldo
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Ronaldo: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
