I've spent 39 years as a lecturer in linguistics at Silverlake Institute of Technology in Albany. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Roman
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
