I teach biology at Silverlake Secondary School in Oakland since 2003. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I never raise my voice.
I've run the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Roman: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
