For 19 years I ran the baseball program at San Diego Football Club in San Diego. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Roman
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
What gifts mean to Roman: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
