Roman Bezawit Abera
Chemistry and religious studies teacher, Adama
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- 2017 to 2025
- English
I taught chemistry at Cedar Grove Girls' School in Adama from 2017 to 2025. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 430 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Roman
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
