Roman Berry
Thatching for 40 years in Sacramento
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- The Sacramento Workshop
- Since 1986
- English
I've worked in thatching since 1986. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,960 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Roman
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Roman: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
