Rolando S. Andrada
Self-taught calligraphy artist
- 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Makati Pottery
- 1981 to 2017
- English
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1981 at Makati Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Rolando
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Rolando: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
