I coached rowing at Tel Aviv Boxing Gym from 2001 to 2019. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Roi
If you played for me, you probably remember the last day before the summer holidays.
What gifts mean to Roi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
