Rohit R. Jain
12 years teaching economics in Varanasi
- 🇮🇳 Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Varanasi Boys' School
- Since 1984
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Rohit
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me economics in 1986 at Varanasi Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
