I've coached cross country at Auckland Liberty Community Club since 2011. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Rohit

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Rohit: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
