I've spent 42 years as a lecturer in modern history at Kolkata University in Kolkata. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Rohit
If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
