Rodrigo N. Arias
Blacksmithing for 15 years in Mar del Plata
- 🇦🇷 Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- St. Joseph's Repairs
- 1997 to 2012
- Spanish
I've worked in blacksmithing from 1997 to 2012. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 450 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Rodrigo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Rodrigo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
