I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 2,070 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Rodrigo
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Rodrigo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
