I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Rocío: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me social studies in 2009 at Victory Middle School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.
