Rocío T. Acosta
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
- New Orleans Repairs
- Since 1989
- English
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around New Orleans, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Rocío
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Rocío: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
