I taught physics at Houston High School in Houston from 2006 to 2020. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 830 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
