Helping people break into software
- 🇪🇸 Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain
- Valley View Community Trust
- Since 1998
- Spanish
For 28 years I've mentored people in software and law school. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Rocío
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Rocío: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
