For 27 years I've run the cross country program at Rome Athletic Club in Rome. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Üsküdar.
