My trade is shoemaking. I opened my own shop in 1992 in Tuxtla Gutiérrez and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
