I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Roberto: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
