Roberto M. Rivera
Helping people break into engineering
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- Since 1981
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 2,660 people through San Francisco Association.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Roberto
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Roberto: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
