Roberto L. Ávila

Volleyball coach, Zapopan Athletic Club

  • 🇲🇽 Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico
  • Since 2008
  • Spanish
I've coached volleyball at Zapopan Athletic Club since 2008. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.

More about Roberto

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Roberto: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
