I've been a nurse for 38 years, most of them in rehabilitation at Guadalupe Health Center in Guadalupe. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I walk the dog by the river.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
