Roberto A. Vargas
Computer science and home economics teacher, Austin
- 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
- Austin Middle School
- 1989 to 2015
- English, Spanish
For 26 years I was the computer science teacher at Austin Middle School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
More about Roberto
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Roberto: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
