Robert Gilbert

Modern history lecturer, 2000 to 2023

  • 🇺🇸 Shreveport, Louisiana, United States
  • Harbor University
  • 2000 to 2023
  • English, Spanish
I taught modern history at Harbor University from 2000 to 2023, and supervised 35 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.

What gifts mean to Robert: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
