Rizky Kurniawan Simanjuntak
History and mathematics teacher, Kediri
- 🇮🇩 Kediri, East Java, Indonesia
- Kediri Public School
- Since 1978
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Rizky
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Rizky: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me history in 2022 at Kediri Public School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
