For 23 years I was the mathematics teacher at St. Joseph's Secondary School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.

More about Ritu

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ritu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
