Rita Gabriella Serra
Early years teacher at Palermo Girls' School, 2012 to 2024
- 🇮🇹 Palermo, Sicily, Italy
- Palermo Girls' School
- 2012 to 2024

I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I played music while people worked.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Rita
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me early years in 2012 at Palermo Girls' School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

You taught me early years in 2023 at Palermo Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Thank you again.
