I've coached baseball at Accra Starlight Sports Club since 1996. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Rita
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Rita: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
