Risa Sachiko Takeda
Computer science teacher at Highland Academy, 2004 to 2013
- 🇯🇵 Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan
- Highland Academy
- 2004 to 2013
- English
Highland Academy was my second home. I taught computer science there from 2004 to 2013, mostly Grade 11.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Risa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Risa: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
