Risa Noriko Shimizu
Community volunteer, twelve years
- 🇯🇵 Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan
- Unity Relief Network
- Since 2014
- English, Japanese
I organize the sports for kids in Setagaya. About 118 people rely on it every week.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. Small habits keep a team together.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Risa
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Risa: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
