I coached wrestling at Acacia Sports Club from 2012 to 2025. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Risa: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
