Risa Mariko Okamoto
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Old Tokyo Trades Guild
- 2010 to 2024
- English
I've worked in auto repair from 2010 to 2024. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 640 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Risa
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
