Rina Sharmila Ali

Professor of modern history, Gazipur Institute of Technology

  • 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Gazipur Institute of Technology
  • 1982 to 2010
  • English, Bengali
My subject is modern history, and for 28 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Gazipur Institute of Technology. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
