Rina Lestari Suharto
34 years teaching art in Yogyakarta
- 🇮🇩 Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia
- Ashford Academy
- Since 1991
- English, Indonesian
Ashford Academy is my second home. I teach art there since 1991, mostly mixed-ability classes.
Over the years I've had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Rina
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Rina: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me art in 2019 at Ashford Academy. I still remember the rainy sports day

A small gift is a big thank-you.
