Rina Anisa Tampubolon

Textiles artist in Semarang

  • 🇮🇩 Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia
  • The Brookfield Gallery
  • Since 1999
  • English, Indonesian
I'm a textiles artist based in Semarang. I've been making things since 1999 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I garden badly but happily.

More about Rina

I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

Mediums

What gifts mean to Rina: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
