Rima Ishrat Mia

Youth boxing coach and mentor

  • 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Westbrook Sports Club
  • Since 1978
  • English, Bengali
For 48 years I've run the boxing program at Westbrook Sports Club in Dhaka. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
