Rima Basma Qureshi
Self-taught calligraphy artist
- 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt
- 1991 to 2010
- English
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1991 at Oakwood Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Rima
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
