I've been a nurse for 18 years, most of them in cardiology at Ballarat Regional Medical Center in Ballarat. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
