Taught English literature at Brooklyn Middle School

For eleven years I was the English literature teacher at Brooklyn Middle School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Riley: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me English literature in 1986 at Brooklyn Middle School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
