I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,820 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Riley
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Riley: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
