Riku Sota Matsuda
Retired art teacher from Sapporo Primary School
- 🇯🇵 Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan
- 1996 to 2020
- Japanese
I taught art at Sapporo Primary School in Sapporo from 1996 to 2020. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Riku
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Riku: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
