I taught biology at Houston Middle School in Houston from 2006 to 2021. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
